Enter the number of pages. Maximum is 200. These are all printed 2 sided on premium matt paper. You have the option to choose printing in Black & White or Full Color.
COVER
Printed in Full Color and Laminated. It then used to make the Hard Cover Case.
ARTWORK
Book Cover: The Book Cover is very critical for your book to get attention and thus sell more. It is highly recommended to work with a graphic designer to design a catchy looking cover. The cover consists of 3 parts: Front Cover, Spine & Back Cover. Based on the number of pages of the book the spine thickness will vary. We have provided some templates to help in setting up the cover graphics properly. Use the Spine Thickness Calculator (use the correct paper) to get the width of the spine. Add 6 mm additional to get the correct Spine thickness for Hard Cover Books. There are 2 options to choose from:
1)Upload Print Ready PDF file. Here you will be providing us a proper print ready PDF for the wraparound cover. Please send us at least 300 dpi resolution PDF for the cover (font outlined & image embedded) OR
2) Let our graphic designer create an attractive cover for you.
Inside Pages: Most probably you will be writing the book in some word processing software like Microsoft Word. If that is the case then you can download our Word Template for this Book Size (see below in the template section) so that you can format your book properly. If you are using any other page layout program like InDesign or Quark then you have to make sure to format it as per our requirement (see the word template). Once your book is formatted properly then you have to convert it to a PDF format. There are 2 options to choose here:
1)Do it yourself - convert to a PDF and upload the print ready file OR
2) We will convert to a Print Ready PDF and send you an online Proof to look at.
ISBN & BARCODE
What is ISBN? Get one for your book. It is highly recommended. Also we can get one for you cheaper than what you can get yourself, as we buy in bulk. If you buy from us, then the service includes getting a unique ISBN number, generating the barcode, listing your book in the ISBN registry and adding the barcode to the Back Cover of your book and sending you a PDF proof. All you have to do is - once you have placed the order, come back to this page and fill out the online ISBN application form, sit back and relax. We do the rest.
PROOFING
1) PDF + HARD Copy Proof: Once you place the order and upload files, we will preflight the files and convert them to print ready PDF files. You will receive an email to approve the PDF files. It is highly recommended that you print the PDF files on your laser printer (print in color if you have access to a color printer), and proof read the document carefully to make sure everything looks correct. It's highly recommended to have someone else besides yourself proof-read the content for issues. Once you approve the online PDF proof, we will create a Hard Copy Bound Sample of the book and overnight ship it to your address. This hard copy proof is very similar to the final product you will receive. If the sample looks good then please sign the hard copy approval form and either fax or scan & email it back to us. Without this approval the production process will not start. If for any reason there is an issue with the hard copy proof and you need to resend new files then we will repeat the same process over again i.e. send a new PDF proof followed by a hard copy proof. Please note that there will be an additional charge applied to your order for a second hard copy proof.
2) PDF Proof: We will only send you a PDF Proof. No hard copy proof will be sent. NOTE: By choosing this option you are waiving the hard copy proofing option. It is highly recommended to get the Hard Copy Proof option, as there are many things which cannot be verified by a PDF Proof only. For example, book margins, cover dimensions, spine thickness and etc.
